Updating Paypal Buttons

If your site has a donation button there is a good chance that the monitary transactions are handled by paypal. Oftentimes in the course of managing your site there is a need to update some aspect of the donation.

Step1:

Login to your paypal account at www.paypal.com

Step2:

Click on the merchant services tab of the top menu

Step3:

About halfway down the page is a list of links with the header create buttons, click on the my saved buttons link

Step4:

Chose the button you'd like to edit and use the action dropdown and select edit button

Step5:

Use the three collapsing tabs to modify the settings of your button as needed

Step6:

Save changes and update code if necessary. If the changes that you've made require an update to the button code you can highlight and copy the code from paypal and then paste this into the html view in your site's donation module or article from the administrator side.
